This kit takes us back in time, when people used grass stems as straws. Today, the same giant rye grass is used to make our OG Straws enjoyed in many bars and cafés around the world. And now, you can grow your very own OG Straw at home.

Inside the kit, you’ll find Giant Rye Grass seeds, the exact same used by the pioneers in the 1800's 

Here’s how it works:

• First, soak the seeds in tap water for about 12 hours.

• Plant them in soil, just under the surface.

• Then, wait and watch as the grass grows.

• When the stems are wide enough, cut a hollow piece, trim both ends, and you’ll have your own natural straw.

You can use it fresh, or dry it in a warm place for later. For an extra smooth finish, cure it gently in the oven at 170 degrees with adult supervision.
