Our OG Straws are made from real rye plant stems—no plastic resins, no mushy paper, no added flavors. They stay crisp in cocktails and highballs, look great in the glass, and back up your sustainability goals with an honest materials story.

What’s included

• A mixed trial set of our two workhorse sizes: 5″ cocktail straws (rocks/lowballs/tastings) and 8″ tall straws (Collins/highballs/iced coffee).

• Packed for easy testing behind the bar. (If you prefer “All 5″” or “All 8″”, leave a note at checkout and we’ll accommodate.)

• Performance: Stays crisp in cold drinks for days; won’t collapse or shed fibers like paper.

• Neutral taste: Won’t change your drink’s flavor or aroma.

• Real material: Cut from rye stems with minimal processing; natural color and slight diameter variation are part of the charm.

• Better end-of-life: Plant-based and home-compostable. Check local rules for commercial composting.

How to use & store

Keep sealed and store dry away from humidity. Drop into finished drinks (no need to pre-soak). For garnishing, trim with clean bar shears if you want a custom length. After service, dispose in regular garbage (zero waste) or a green waste/home compost where fitted.

Sustainability notes

Rye stems are an agricultural by-product. Using them as straws gives bars an authentic, low-impact option without resorting to plastics or energy-intensive alternatives.
