Naturally Straws is the hospitality and retail line developed by Shaffer Farms. We work on putting a naturally grown rye stem back where it belongs: in drinks that call for a straw.
The point is practical. Choose the length that suits the drink, handle the stem with care, and give a farm-grown material a considered place in modern service.

Highballs, iced coffee, cold brew and tall cocktails.
Each cylinder contains 500 rye straws. Diameter, tone and surface character vary slightly because each straw is a natural stem, not a manufactured tube. Outside diameter is approximately 4–6 mm.
A bar material with a record.
Nineteenth-century cocktail books and illustrations show straws in drinks such as juleps and cobblers. Naturally Straws brings a rye stem back to the modern bar without pretending every older claim about straws belongs on a current product page.
What matters in service.
Rye straws are intended for thin drinks. Place them gently in the glass, avoid sharply bending or biting them, and do not use them for thick blended drinks or forceful stirring.
