About the Work

In Roberts Creek, Alexandra Shaffer makes stoneware inspired by the coast and forest—whales, waves, crabs, cedar, fern, and other Pacific Northwest forms. Each piece is hand‑thrown or cast, hand‑glazed, and kiln‑fired for daily use. The goal is simple: useful pottery that carries a sense of place.

This offer ships worldwide at the buyer’s cost. Each order includes a hand‑made wooden crate that protects the mugs in transit and doubles as an in‑store display. Packing uses scrap wood instead of plastics or foam.

Every crate contains a curated selection of ten (10) hand‑made mugs  or choose the designs you want us to ship with your order. Designs are drawn from marine and forest motifs and will vary by firing; sizes and glaze tones are mixed, so each crate feels curated and unique. If you have general preferences (for example, “more marine” or “mostly large mugs”), add a note with your order and we will accommodate when possible.

Pricing & Retail

Wholesale price is CAD $39.99 per mug. There is no charge for the wooden crate. The MSRP is CAD $79.99 per mug. Each piece carries the artist’s seal of authenticity.
